I can't believe this has taken as long as it has. The Russian media has finally done the wonderfully predictable and begun to link that Russian airport scene in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with the recent airport suicide bombing. Activision releases screenshots, showing off the first downloadable content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 due on Xbox 360 in next Tuesday, March 30. The five new screens you'll see below, offer a glance at the five new maps that are going be available when the DLC arrives...

Microsoft's Inside Xbox newsletter has uncovered the first details regarding the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 'Stimulus Package' downloadable content. Check out the video below: The Stimulus Package features 5 maps for MW 2. Two of these maps are actually reworked maps from Call of Duty 4. As reported, the DLC is slated to hit Xbox 360 on March 30 for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), and will arrive to PC and PlayStation 3 platforms sometime after that. Source.

That's right. Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling tweets about how many people are playing the shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: "... we JUST hit 25 MILLION unique players on Modern Warfare 2. Insanity! Also, got a lot of #MW2 DLC details coming this week! FINALLY!" The update was followed by a clarification: "That's 25 million unique across all platforms. Most on Xbox 360, then a close 2nd goes to PS3, will millions more on PC." Thanks, Blue.

Concerning Infinity Ward's shooter Modern Warfare 2, opinions appeared to have been divided in the ranks of Activision. First they dump the Call of Duty brand from the game's title, now they've returned it. So, once again, they've changed the name of the project.
