According to a report from WantChina
Times, 300 workers at a Foxconn manufacturing plant in Wuhan, China have
threatened to throw themselves off the building's roof after a pay dispute earlier
this month (thanks Kotaku).
It appears that the people who worked on the Xbox 360 assembly line, were not
given a pay rise by Foxconn management...

Unsubstantiated reports from an unknown blog claim WoW's subscriber base is down to 5 million (from almost 12 million), with Blizzard keeping this a closely guarded secret...

Blizzard Entertainment reveals that their MMORPG World of Warcraft will be
licensed to NetEase in mainland China for a term of three years. They've also
announced a partnership on Blizzard's Warcraft III, StarCraft II and Battle.net
gaming platform last summer...

Chinese gamers are still waiting for Blizzard's MMORPG, World
of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, to launch in their country. Recent
reports have shown that certain in-game content was found inappropriate, particularly
"a city raid and skeleton characters" (Burning Crusade faced similar issues
prior release)...

The already huge Chinese online games market is about to get bigger. Pearl Research
revealed the results of a study, which estimates that the online games market
in China is going to top $3 billion in 2010. It's been mentioned that "Chinese-themed
and advanced casual games are expected to drive revenues in 2008 and beyond...
