Death has been the source of theological and philosophical debate for ages.
The idea of embodying death into one character has always been a dominant theme
in many fictional tales. Individual human imagination is more than capable
of its own interpretation of death, so perhaps the only character of death you'll
fear the most is the one you picture in your own mind...

Death walks alongside
us all, ever biding its time, until, finally, it strikes. It's everywhere
and there's little we can do to avoid its gaze...

Decided to start the day off cheerfully. So, can you think of one thing people will remember you by, after you're stone dead?

Angry Birds marketing lead Peter Vesterbacka said at the South by Southwest Interact conference that consoles are dying. Presumably he means that his product is the way of the future.
Consoles will have to continue to either change and evolve or simply become cheap computers. While I'd love for consoles to eventually take the form of some interactive drug, this seems a long way off. Nonetheless, I would by no means say that consoles are in anyway dying.

There's nothing I detest quite as much as authority. Any form of authority. While human society definitely wouldn't function without some form of authority, it's the little personal daily authorities, coming from your parents, siblings or husbands or wives, that are bound to piss you off more than the flash of police car headlights or a fucking badge...

It's in our nature to complain about everything. I wonder: can we ever be truly
content? Probably not. The struggle for perfection is ever-present and yet we
never get there. Not even when we breathe that final breath and the music finally
stops...

Death gets us all eventually. Seriously, who'd want to live forever anyway? You'd
never see the end of WoW patches and The Sims expansion packs. Okay, it may not
be fair putting those in the same boat, but what the heck. Death might be a blessing.
A well-disguised blessing, but a blessing nonetheless.

What would happen if every game developer in the world died? Would we start
making games ourselves? Hah, there's a daunting thought. Then again, given the
quality of some of today's releases, we just might be able to do a better job. Oh
what the heck, we might as well begin creating a game right now...

I can see most of you were pretty take by yesterday's God
of War III trailer and... well, why the hell not. You should be. After all,
it's games like these that make an impact on the market. I only hope they don't
screw it up in some way.
As for me buying a PS3, I dunno...

Love, hate, video games, sex, death, sandwiches and swarms and swarms of pigeons.
That's about as much you can hope to get out of this life. Seriously, life sucks
enough without so many damn pigeons. They do nothing all day but hate each other,
play video games, have sex, die on one another and eat sandwiches. What's next?
MMO Pigeon Games? The fuckers should be severely dealt with. It ends now. To arms!
Who's with me?

I watched a huge guy stumble and fall on the street today. Watched him as I
drank my coffee through the coffee shop window. It was very apparent he either
has a heart condition or his liver is in total disarray from way too much alcohol
(3,000 country miles and a whole era way past that point of alcohol being a
fun novelty)...

What did Mozart think in the last seconds of his life? Did he come up with
the most brilliant sonata as he was grabbing his throat and his eyes boiled
in their bloody sockets?
Because, if he did, that would be quite like something I'd expect fate to pull.
All those notes cascading through his mind as images of his unsightly bedroom
furniture inverted and coiled into a pastel-colored vortex.
