Ubisoft's latest trailer for the multiplatform shooter Far Cry 3, shows off some pretty cool action scenes and introduces us to Dr. Earnhardt; one of the characters you'll meet along the way. Of course, apart from weapons and vehicles, Far Cry 3 is about exploration and this game retains that particular aspect of the well-known FPS franchise...

'Crazier' in a good way, of course. Ubisoft released a cinematic trailer for Far Cry 3. Have a look: As the trailer itself confirms, the FPS is now scheduled to hit stores on September 7, 2012 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

After the E3 2011 gameplay footage for Far Cry 3, Ubisoft shows us another route and a slightly different play style gameres will be able to take in the same location: In recent related news, the developers made it clear that they are making a larger in-game world than in the previous game (Far Cry 2)...

One thing I really enjoyed about Far Cry 2, was the opportunity to explore and move forward any way you wish. You were given complete freedom to carry out various tasks in a highly realistic environment too (well, that's if we exclude the incredibly annoying random enemy patrols appearing and reappearing every few miles on the road)...

Far Cry 3 has officially been confirmed by Ubisoft Montreal. This is exciting news for us, because we really did enjoy Far Cry 2, despite some of its flaws (you can read more about that in our Far Cry 2 review). Now then, Far Cry 3 is being developed by Ubisoft Montréal, Ubisoft Shanghai and Massive Entertainment...

There are continuing instances of people either listing Far Cry 3 on their resumes, or people likely to be involved in the development of Far Cry 3 listing something like "unannounced first person shooter" on their resumes. While this isn't hard evidence, it is not a great leap of faith to assume that Far Cry 3 will probably be out soon...

According to the Spy column in latest issue of PC Gamer, the development of Far Cry 3 is well underway. The game is now "in full swing now," the report states. Mind you, no specifics were given about the game. We do know that the development will be handled by Ubisoft Montreal...
