It turns out that publisher Ubisoft has several movies in the works based on existing video game franchises, including Watch Dogs, Far Cry and Rabbids.

I'd like to start this week with a question: just where the fuck is Hollywood going? How much is too much?
Now, some things look fun, but again, it all seems to hinge on the same stories that were told a million times before.
Also, why in the name of tits am I still so easily amused and teased with bullshit like this? This shit really makes me want to pay for a movie ticket.

Hollywood Reporter let us know that a brand new movie, based on the Tomb Raider video game series, is going into production and, according to the story, the project is set to commence pretty soon (almost immediately, in fact...).
The project was announced Wednesday by MGM chairman and CEO Gary Barber and GK Films founder Graham King...

Back in October Ubisoft confirmed that the Assassin's
Creed movie has been fast tracked "as the creative pieces come together,
while allowing Ubisoft to maintain control of key elements of the movie's creative
