If you've been following our news, you probably already know that the makers
of the downloadable console game, I Am Alive, won't be making it to the PC.
In fact, Stanislas Mettra, the game's creative director, recently pointed his
finger at that foul whore piracy as the main reason behind the developer's move
to avoid
the PC platform entirely...

The downloadable title I Am Alive won't be making its way to PCs, as you probably
are aware of by now. The game's creative director, Stanislas Mettra, said they
gave up on the PC edition for good reason. "It's hard because there’s so much
piracy and so few people are paying for PC games that we have to precisely weigh
it up against the cost of making it...

Well, how about that, I Am Alive finally gets an actual trailer:
The game is set to launch this winter via Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation
Network.
"We know people have been waiting for this game to arrive, and we believe it’s
going to be worth the wait," Adam Novickas, Director of Marketing at Ubisoft,
said in a press release...

Ubisoft hasn't so much as breathed a word on their mysterious project "I
Am Alive," but now they've finally released a new cinematic trailer:
Still no gameplay footage. Oh well, at least we know the game is still in development
and that the publisher is now targeting a Spring 2011 launch window.

know Ubisoft's game "I Am Alive?" Well, as we've reported a few days
ago both Beyond Good & Evil 2 and I Am Alive are still in development - as confirmed by Geoffroy Sardin, CEO of Ubisoft France...

Apart from confirming the delay of Splinter Cell: Conviction, Ubisoft also
commented regarding another two of their projects. Both Beyond Good & Evil 2
and I Am Alive are still on the company's agenda and were not canceled, despite
some recent claims that the games were canned...

Ubisoft recently confirmed that the company is forced to make release schedule
changes to some of its upcoming games. Apart from Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon,
Ubi's new IP, I Am Alive, also suffered
a delay. Also, the development of I Am Alive was pulled
from studio Darkworks and is now in the hands of Ubisoft Shanghai...

Ubisoft confirmed that the highly successful game publisher was forced to delayed
key releases such as Splinter Cell: Conviction and Wii exclusive Red Steel 2
until the fourth quarter between January and March 2010. The next Ghost Recon
title also suffered a delay, as well as the new IP I Am Alive - both were pushed
back to 2010/2011...

According to French publisher Ubisoft, the development of I Am Alive was pulled
from development studio Darkworks. Now, the game will be completed by Ubisoft
Shanghai. You can read the full

We've just received word of a new project that accompanies various games already
in the works under the publishing arm of Ubisoft. It's an "edgy survival-adventure
intellectual property," entitled I Am Alive. Word is, players are going
to be challenged to think, react and take risks that will directly affect themselves
and those around them...
