Double Fine isn't just letting Magical Time Bean use their spare office space to develop great indie games; they want to help any indie developers needing assistance getting their games out the door. "Our goal is to help indies build their own community and empower them with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed on their own...

And how about a funny trailer to go along with the horrible one for The Amazing Spider-Man 2? The press release for this game was just as humorous. The statement continued with the schtick that Tim Schaefer was completely unaware that Magical Time Bean was working on their sequel to Escape Goat at the Double Fine offices...

I'm utterly disgusted with what current mainstream gaming scene has to offer and the same bloody thing goes for movies, especially the crap that was released in the last few years or so. After the news that EVE Online will be made into a TV series, well, that certainly made me realize just how pathetically unoriginal the entertainment industry has become...

Scratching your head doesn't cut it sometimes. Just consider your mistakes carefully and try to ponder why you've made them. Only then can you press forward and hope to unlock all the secrets this game holds. The question is, do you know what the hell you're doing? And remember to keep your feet, 'cause there's no knowing where you might be swept off to...

Boy, I'm really glad there are still making games like this one and this one. And, okay, okay, I'll admit this much; I am excited about Elite: Dangerous and Project Eternity. Mainstream gaming hasn't turned into a cesspool of mediocrity just yet, but thanks to indie devs there are still some pretty awesome ideas out there. Just hope EA doesn't spot them... and devour them.

Our buddy Un Om Bun takes another headfirst dive into the waters of indie gaming. We take a look at Freebird Games' latest creation, To the Moon: To the Moon is a love story with some light sci-fi elements. It takes place almost entirely inside a dying man's mind, as two doctors search his memories for clues that might help them fulfill his dying wish: to go to the Moon...

I used to have a pretty good notion of where this industry is going, although I'm not so sure now. Normally, I'd be convinced that EA and Blactivsion will take over the world with MMORPGs and Call of Duties and yet Skyrim is a testimony that gamers still want the single-player RPG experience...

So what's next for us? Are we gonna grow beards, fat stomachs and just fade away into the electronic alleyways of the Internet, as the game industry goes all 'casual' on us? No. Certainly not. What's more, I think publishers are starting to pay a lot more attention to the indie game scene, which is a big deal...

The extremely popular indie game Minecraft already earned quite a lot of money and the fascinating thing is that it isn't even out of its alpha phase yet. According to newest reports, the game now sold over 500,000 copies. Minecraft currently has 1...

Minecraft, the independently developed world-building game, reached a peak in sales. The game had enough marketing exposure recently, what with the recent server issues, which subsequently led to a free-to-play weekend that attracted a great number of players...

I'm starting to think the gaming industry needs a swift kick in the backside. So many developers and publishers are concentrating on what the masses want and through it all they seem to be missing the most important thing - making a good game...
