Legendary Pictures -- the movie production company responsible for flicks such as '300' and 'Watchmen' (and someday the World of Warcraft movie adaptation) -- has acquired the rights to create a motion picture based on BioWare's Mass Effect successful sci-fi RPG series (thanks Heat Vision)...

IMDB has just been updated with a bit of interesting info regarding the Warcraft movie. Apparently the flick is going to carry the title Warcraft: The Rise of the Lich King. The movie will most likely be released in 2011. Thanks WorldofWar.net.

Boy, just check out the news above. They chose the director for the World of Warcraft flick. Oh no, no, no, no! Definitely the wrong man for the job. Respect him and his work. But most of his movies were, I dunno, goofy. They say Drag Me To Hell is good, but otherwise, this is the guy who directed Evil Dead and the Spider-Man movies. Is he really the right choice? Don't think so.
