Deep Silver announced today that Metro Redux, the remastered versions of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, will release on August 26, 2014 in North America and August 29th in Europe. The retail copy of Metro Redux also contains all previously released DLC, the Ranger Mode for both games, and the Spartan and Survival play styles for both games. Each can also be purchased separately via digital download. Metro Redux will be available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Following the recent announcement and the debut teaser, 4A Games releases the first gameplay trailer for the upcoming sequel to the survival shooter, Metro 2033. Hm, the gameplay in Metro: Last Light seems to be rather similar to what we've seen in Metro 2033, which is not bad. The first wave of downloadable content for 4A Games' shooter post-apocalyptic Metro 2033 is set to arrive pretty soon. "Like a fine single malt, the DLC is almost done... we hope to be able to take the wraps off it this week," the developers tweeted.
