Namco has announced Soul Calibur V, it takes place 17 years after the last game, and thus far the only two confirmed characters are Siegfried (of course) and Patroklos, the son of Sophitia Alexandra, although I would imagine other series favorites will return as well, like Ivy, Taki, Talim and Raphael. That's about all we know, apart from the fact that this is a fighting game, there will be character creation, and the new character of Patroklos looks like kind of a wiener. Read more.

Ah, Soulcalibur IV... Adding bouncing-boobies to the game and featuring Yoda and Darth as playable characters clearly paid off. Namco Bandai revealed that they sold 2 million copies worldwide since the game launched on July 29 in the United States and on July 31 across Europe and Japan. Soul Calibur IV for the Xbox 360 has finally arrived. Yep, we chose "Light," which means we got Yoda as the bonus character, whereas PS3 owners will get "Darkness" with Darth Vader. No other differences between the two versions, really. The game features online play for the first time in the history of the series and introduces some nifty improvements as well.
