Assassin's Creed II and Silent Hunter V, both of which employ Ubisoft's new
DRM scheme, are not the only new games plagued with DRM problems. EA's new strategy
game Command & Conquer 4: Tiberium Twilight is evidently undergoing
severe DRM playability issues...

If you've been following our
news in the past couple of weeks, you
should know all there is to know about Ubisoft latest DRM scheme, which
continues to dishearten gamers everywhere. Mind you, word has it, and Ubisoft
seemed to be sure about this as well...

Yesterday there have been reports on the official Assassin's
Creed II forums about Ubisoft's DRM authentication servers crashing, with
players having to endure lengthy login periods when booting up the game. For
many people the game just locks entirely...

Despite its determination and drastic measures to battle piracy, Ubisoft has
fallen on stony ground with its
latest DRM scheme, which continues to worry PC gamers. Word is spreading
fast that Silent Hunter 5 -- the latest submarine hunter simulation from Ubisoft
Romania -- has already been cracked...

Ubisoft latest effort in the eternal fight against piracy is installing a
new DRM and online services platform, which is going to require a constant Internet
connection. Players were troubled
by early reports that if the connection got broken, they'd automatically
lose progress in their single-player games...

PC Gamer reports on the status of the PC edition of Assassin's Creed II, which
relies on Ubisoft's brand new DRM system, which we've reported
about earlier. According to the report, this particular brand of DRM is
one of the worst you're about to lay your hands on...

Well-known publisher and developer Ubisoft said that it intends to launch a
new proprietary system to manage its PC gaming community and one of the first
steps is making PC games accessible through Ubi.com accounts. Ubisoft has been
known for controversial use of the StarForce digital rights management application...
