As this year's E3 press conference continues to get stranger and stranger, another challenger has entered the fold. The PC Gaming publication is holding a press conference to celebrate all things PC gaming-related. "Developers, publishers, hardware companies, press and fans come together to celebrate PC gaming and see what lies in store...

Deus Ex: Human Divided was announced by Eidos Montreal and Square Enix and I consider it to be the biggest, most interesting piece of gaming news in months. Yes I do. Today I found out some good news for PC gamers too. The game, which will continue the story some years after Deus Ex: Human Revolution...

What do you we have here, a PC-flavored news item! Could it be that we're back to our old ways? Mmmmaybe. Anyway, this will make Vince happy (I think). Microsoft plans to release Direct X 12 coupled with their new upcoming OS, Windows 10. According to a report, "a source with knowledge of the matter" mentions an "unspoken API," which is most likely DirectX 12...

Apparently, BioShock creator Ken Levine has a lot to tweet about lately. Apart from rumors, there really haven't been any official confirmations about whether Levine is working on a brand new project. However, he did share some morsels of info with the world...

Yes, this is my own version of the "can't we all just get along" sentiment. I've grown to detest the notion of standing by one's choice of gaming platform like it's a family member. When you think about it, if you’re set on playing games on a specific platform, that means you either prefer the system itself or the controls...

Without question, Red Dead Redemption remains an important achievement, because it had a story and characterization that puts most bigger movies to shame. The shooter mechanics were more or less familiar. Anyway, after so many uncofirmed reports, the ever-running rumor mill regarding the PC version of Red Dead Redemption continues...

I've been neglecting my PC a lot. It's specifications are so outdated, it's probably going to join the crowd of long-forgotten dinosaurs, which are incapable of running games like Super Meat Boy.  My next platform may, in fact, be a kick-ass PC. Or probably not. Probably a PS4.  Or an Xbox One. No, forget that.  It's settled a Nintendo Wii U.

Last week Ubisoft revealed the system requirements for the PC editions of Assassin's Creed 4 and Watch Dogs. Those specs didn't make one thing clear though. Apparently, the PC version of Watch Dogs will only run on a 64-bit OS. NeoGAF reader seems to have grabbed some specs that were posted on Ubisoft's Uplay store before the publisher removed them (thanks CVG)...

GTA 5's been all over the news these days, but, wait, there's more. People seem eager to dig up more info on the potential PC edition of Grand Theft Auto 5. Apparently someone's been picking through the source code in the console version of the game (don't ask me how, I'm not technically minded)...

How often have we heard this? A lot. Well, now you're gonna hear it again. NVIDIA's Tony Tamasi spoke in a recent interview regarding graphics cards and he made a rather interesting statement, which I'm sure will sound pleasing to PC gamers...

Filed under: SHELTER, PC GAMING, REVIEWS
Shelter is one weird game, but sometimes you have to inject yourself with a bit of 'weird' in order to realize just how wonderful life can be. Now, only one question remains to be answered: what's your kind of weird? And, is a weird game worth it? Well, only you can answer the first question and we can try and help you with the second...
