The highly anticipated open-world action game from Radical Entertainment finally gets an official release date. According to Activision, Prototype will be landing in Europe on June 5, 2009 and in the United States on June 9, 2009. The game is on its way to the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The latest trailer for Radical Entertainment's Prototype features 2 minutes of gameplay footage. Take a look: Looks awesome, I must say. Prototype is going to arrive in Q3 2008 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Also, DC Comics revealed recently that they are making a 'Prototype' comic book series, which is set to debut in August 2008 via DC’s WildStorm imprint.

Set in NYC, Prototype is an action adventure currently in development at Radical Entertainment for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Alex Mercer, the main character, feeds his powers by killing. He uses his razor-sharp claws and executes foes by ripping their throats out, impaling or dismembering them...

Vivendi and Vancouver-based dev. studio Radical Entertainment have supplied us with a fresh batch of awesome high-res in-game screenhots from the upcoming multi-platform action adventure Prototype. In Prototype your character moves around using the GTA-style free-roam formula, with the presence of Free Running, or Parkour, if you will...
