Sony confirms that they locked out over 100,000 accounts from PSN and other
online services after a spike in unauthorized login attempts, as reported by
NYTimes.
Word is: "In a statement Wednesday, Sony said it suspected that hackers had
obtained login data from other Web sites or sources and used those to try to
gain access to Sony accounts...

MotorStorm Apocalypse was, like many other games, delayed due to that massive earthquake that I sincerly hope you remember. Eventually it came out in North America early last month (May), but there was no word on the Japanese version of the game.
Each of MotorStorm Apocalypse's levels included some depiction of a gigantic natural disaster, including earthquakes...

Sony's Hirai told Reuters it plans for the PlayStation Vita to be profitable within three years. Yes, that's right, they aren't expecting the hardware to turn a profit for three years.
On the outset, this seems kind of insane, but it took longer than three years for the PS3 to turn a profit, and Sony lost way more money on that from the outset. Gotta spend money to make money I guess.

The PlayStation Vita has officially been named, replacing a bad name (NGP) with a worse one. This is the replacement to the PSP, if you forget about the PSP Go. I have.
The Vita has also been priced. For 250 dollars, you get the standard unit. For 300 dollars, you get the unit enabled with 3G, meaning you have the honor of paying AT&T for marginal service every month...

The NGP (I have no idea what this stands for, Neat-o Games Player?) is the successor to the PSP. Well, the PSP Go really. The PSP Go was a PSP that could only download games instead of using that ridiculous UMD format. The NGP is the same way, only it has two thumbsticks instead of the one, a touch screen, and more powerful hardware...

Gregory Evans, a hacker who spent time in prison for hacking who now runs a security firm says Sony is still insecure. Not only because no network is secure and anybody's machine can be hacked, but also because the security people they're using aren't hackers themselves...
