The latest trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist features more in-game footage and shows us some of Sam Fisher's abilities that'll be available in the forthcoming addition to the long-running stealth-action series:

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is set to hit stores on August 20, 2013, for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. Last week, the game was confirmed for Nintendo's Wii U.

Ubisoft Toronto and Ubisoft Montreal are, apparently, working on another addition to the Assassin's Creed series - that's one more game, which is supposedly going to be released after Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.

Last month, Ubisoft Motion Pictures confirmed that actor Tom
Hardy is involved with the Splinter Cell movie. The flick based on Ubi's
stealth-themed action series is now moving forward, with New Regency joining
production.

Actor Tom Hardy, who among his many roles recently portrayed the villain in the last Dark Knight movie, is now confirmed to play the lead role in the
upcoming movie based on Ubisoft's Splinter Cell game.

Ubisoft sends along a brand
new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist:

purchase during Q2 2013.

Ubisoft confirms that its new Toronto development studio is already working
on Splinter Cell 6. Evidently there were earlier reports that a fresh addition
to the Splinter Cell series is under way, but this is the first official scoop, brought to you by a very familiar face...

Microsoft and Ubisoft haven't breathed a word regarding Splinter Cell: Conviction
for a while now. You're probably thinking: "Why MS?" Well, mainly
because MS managed to secure platform-exclusivity.
That's right, during yesterday's Microsoft E3 press conference, it was revealed
that Splinter Cell: Conviction is going to be an X360-only title...

Ubisoft today released
financial documents in which the company confirmed the fourth installment in
the long-running Ghost Recon series of squad-based shooters. Ghost Recon 4 is
going to emerge soon, so you can rejoice (if you're a fan... and even if you're
not a fan, because Ghost Recon games were quite good)...

Ubisoft officially confirmed that Assassin's Creed 2 and the new Splinter Cell
game will be released during the publisher's next fiscal year - April 1, 2009
through March 31, 2010. This also goes for the next
Ghost Recon title, which is supposed to arrive during 2009, along with a
new Rainbow Six release...

Ubisoft Montreal is clearly focusing on other projects and Splinter Cell: Conviction
doesn't appear to be one of them. Earlier today, publisher Ubisoft confirmed
that the multiplatform game has been delayed until the Ubi's 2009-2010 fiscal
year...

Starting April 21, two new titles are going to make their way to the Xbox Originals
catalog - namely, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and Metal Arms ' Glitch in the
System (thanks, MajorNelson).
Word has it that the titles will be available for 1200 points each in all Xbox
LIVE regions except Korea (SC and MA) and Japan (MA).
Sam Fisher... Chaos Theory... ring a bell, does it? Well, it sure does for
us and if I remember correctly, we
really enjoyed that one on the old Xbox.
