A new studio under Square Enix's wing has chosen to dedicate themselves so much to the classic JRPG, that they're named the Tokyo RPG Factory. Their first game they plan to crank out is I Am Setsuna, which will release this summer, and from what they showed at PAX East, it's definitely a fitting tribute to classic JRPGs...
Square Enix has partnered with Milestone S.r.l to publish the developer's racing games in North and Latin Americas. The first game they will publish for the Italian studio will be developer's rally sim, Sebastien Loeb Rally EVO, which naturally features rally racing icon Sebastien Loeb...

Square Enix is holding a rather unique holiday sale for their PC games. For $9.99, buyers will receive a mystery "box" containing 5 undisclosed PC games from the developer. They claim that the grab bag includes $80 worth of games for this low price...
Just in case you're worried that Final Fantasy XV will go the way of Final Fantasy XIII - Versus, meaning either the way of the dodo or morph into something else, Square Enix wants to keep you all reassured that everything is going fine. They will host subtitled videos to keep fans up to date on FFXV's development progress...

Square Enix announced their E3 press conference first, to be held on the Tuesday morning of the show at 9 a.m. Then Nintendo announced their own press conference, which will be a streaming Nintendo Direct presentation, for the exact same time. To not cause any conflict with gaming fans who may want to watch both conferences online...

They announced on their blog today that they too will hold a special press conference on Tuesday, June 16 at 9 a.m. PST. Those who can't attend E3 can watch the stream live on Twitch via twitch...

Square Enix has been teasing Deux Ex Mankind Divided all week, but they aren't done with teasing future game announcements. Another one popped up recently with its own website as well and what seems to be some sort of countdown. Any guesses? Can't be Deus Ex, but what about another Star Ocean game?
VIDEO: 1509529.mp4 Square Enix has confirmed today that yes, the new game announcement they have been teasing is indeed a new Deus Ex game, Deus Ex Mankind Divided. I'm sure Vader has already soiled himself in excitement. DXMD takes place in 2029, two years after Human Revolution and the horrific incident at Panchaea that killed millions of people with augmentations...
Square Enix has been trying to lead up to some big reveal over their Twitch channel, but thanks to NeoGAFfers and other leakers, screenshots for a game called Deus Ex Mankind Divided have snuck out into the interwebs. One such screenshot is below. The original NeoGAF thread has been removed, but the Internet has long memories. The official reveal from Square Enix will happed at 3 p.m. PST today via their "Can't Kill Progress" Twitch channel.
Shut up! I don't care if it's a misleading headline in any way. It will be unveiled! Believe it. The world needs this and so do I frankly. While nothing is 100% certain yet, Square Enix announcing a brand new single-player Deus Ex game would be just the hype I want to get me going right now...
Square Enix mentioned a few weeks ago that they were working on a cloud-based gaming service, and they unveiled more at Tokyo Game Show this week. Called Shinra Technologies (which is quite awesome), the beta will launch in Japan early next year. The beta will include Square Enix classics and newly published games, such as Final Fantasy VII, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and Tomb Raider...
ActionTrip comic no. 600!  Hm, not as funny as I hoped. Come to think of it, I have a strange feeling SquareEnix is gonna accept this design.  AT COMIC: If SquareEnix Made Thor

Square Enix has announced that they pledge to continue to support the Vita with future games, which I can only hope means no more ports of their Final Fantasy games. "Our games are very compatible with Vita. We will make more Vita games," the publisher told InterMezzo (translation via NeoGAF). My bet is that their first new game is a Kingdom Hearts Vita game. They've made KH games for the GBA, DS, 3DS, and PSP. This is going to happen eventually.

Sony is no longer the third largest shareholder of Square Enix, as the company is selling every last piece of Squenix stock it owns. For the last ten years, Sony has owned about 9.5 million shares in Square Enix stock, and they plan to sell it all to SMBC Nikko, a global securities firm...
