Wow, yesterday's
announcement of Sleeping Dogs really took me by surprise, so that's good news;
at least I think it is. Maybe for some of you guys, yes? After all, my experience
with the True Crime series hasn't been all that exciting, so I don't remember

Development studios United Front Games and Square Enix London revealed 'Sleeping
Dogs' -- formerly known as True Crime: Hong Kong -- "a gritty open-world
cop drama set in the vibrant city of Hong Kong" (Ah, and I'll bet the key
is in the word, "gritty" right?)...

Rumors have been spreading across the web that Square Enix is working on a
brand new action RPG, which is going to utilize the Unreal Engine technology.
Reportedly, the game is being produced by Ryutaro Ichimura (Dragon Quest IX)
and will be made for consoles...

According to Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada Deus Ex is now the company's a core
IP and he explained how they intend to continue the franchise. During a financial
briefing, Wada talked about Square's goal to focus on "ten IPs" it order to
gain "a continuous profit contribution" to the company...

Enix reveals its plans to expand the development studio Eidos Montreal studio.
Apparently, a workforce of 100 will be added and a second studio will be oppened
-- Square Enix Montreal -- in 2012. Eidos-Montreal has officially begun its

Square Enix informed us via press release that their recently released title,
Deus Ex: Human Revolution, shipped 2 million copies in North America, across
Europe and PAL territories since the game's launch last month. The game was
developed by Eidos Montreal and is available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360
and Windows PC platforms...

sci-fi themed game, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which is already available in
the United States and across Europe. The publisher said that their game "shows

Square Enix, a developer that has a stronger presence in Japan than anywhere else, had kind of a shitty year financially. Not only did the studio not have anything big and super successful coming out in the past 12 months (past 12 months ending March 31st, 2011), there was that earthquake, tsunami, nuclear disaster thing, and fuck if those don't cost a pretty penny...

Looks like we won't be playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution any time soon. Okay,
don't go crazy just yet, it's not that bad. We initially expected the game to
arrive during April this year. Instead of this originally planned launch window,
the game has received a new release date - August 23, 2011 for the North American
market (and August 26 for the UK)...

We finally get a chance to take a peek at the new artwork from the new Tomb Raider game. At this early stage of development, we still haven't seen what

It always happens, doesn't it? You get all excited about this one game (evidently
one of the few titles that seems worthy of your attention). And then the inevitable
happens; they delay the damn thing. We were expecting Deus Ex: Human Revolution
some time in February 2011 or March 2011 at least...
