Square Enix sends over the official word that president Yoichi Wada has resigned, leading to the company's forecast of an "extraordinary loss" for the current fiscal year. Current representative director Yosuke Matsuda to will succeed Wada as president starting on June this year, according to the publisher...

Square Enix released Final Fantasy Type-0 in Japan over a year ago, and there has been nigh a word about the PSP RPG making a trip across the Pacific to the US, which is rather typical behavior from Squenix. has the word that the secretive project from Square Enix (evidently there
were some rumors about that) is called Star Galaxy. The game is being described
as a MMO space simulation that will allow up to 2,000 players to fight it out,
where players also get a chance to become commanders in chief, as they manage
resources, infrastructure and power sources...

announcement of Sleeping Dogs really took me by surprise, so that's good news;

Development studios United Front Games and Square Enix London revealed 'Sleeping
Dogs' -- formerly known as True Crime: Hong Kong -- "a gritty open-world

Rumors have been spreading across the web that Square Enix is working on a
brand new action RPG, which is going to utilize the Unreal Engine technology.
Reportedly, the game is being produced by Ryutaro Ichimura (Dragon Quest IX)

IP and he explained how they intend to continue the franchise. During a financial
briefing, Wada talked about Square's goal to focus on "ten IPs" it order to
