Could I have been supercritical when it comes to The Hobbit movies? Why don't I like these movies as much as I have liked The Lord of the Rings trilogy? I dunno, maybe it's the blatant lack of source material that left The Hobbit rather poor in dialogue and lore...
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was a fun movie for me. Really had fun watching it and I saw no harm in encouraging people to see it. Okay, now that I've watched the sequel -- The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug -- there are a few things that have surprised me, and I don't mean in a good way...
Confirming earlier reports, Warner Bros. now announces Lego The Hobbit based on Peter Jackson's The Hobbit movie trilogy. Expect the game to become available next year for Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Mac (bloody hell, that's a lot of damn platforms for one game)...
Morning, my dear AT readers. 2012 is almost at an end. We have a great deal to look forward to next year. Well, for me it's only one - Mirror's Edge 2. Not that we'll see that in 2013, but it's still comforting to know that they're making it...
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the latest movie from director Peter Jackson, conquered the box office and generated $84 million. This means that the flick officially had a better opening than any of the three Lord of the Rings movies that preceded it...
It's all about mushrooms and weed anyway... AT COMIC: The Hobbit - The Real Deal
Grabbed the opportunity to watch The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey last night. To put it simply, I'm struggling to understand why so many critics aren't giving it much praise. True enough, there was plenty of room here to give the audience something new and different...
In my excitement and the highest anticipation for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, I couldn't contain myself so I stopped by Metacritic to check out what the critics are saying (yes, I still think it's important to find out what they are saying before I see a movie...

Morning, folks. Well, as you know The Hobbit is going to premiere in exactly a month's time and I have to say and can't wait to see that one. Incidentally, if you're interested, it appears that the entire soundtrack from The Hobbit is now online. Hm, if you prefer listening to music from a movie that's not out yet.
There's a brand new trailer for Peter Jackson's new movie, The Hobbit. Check it out! The trailer can mostly be described as, pure awesome sauce!
Two major 2012 blockbusters I'll remember: The Avengers The Dark Knight Rises Both are definitely worth watching. Oh and don't watch The Avengers unless you've already watched Iron Man (1,2), Thor, Captain America and The Hulk. As for The Dark Knight Rises, well, it's a great ending to a terrific trilogy from Christopher Nolan...
Went to bed late last night, but got up early in the morning. Sometimes, just sometimes, it's not an entirely bad feeling at all. Depends why you're waking up. Again, I'd like to think each day is reason enough to get up. Every day's beautiful and full of new adventures...
I'm sure most of you haven't missed the news that Peter Jackson will be making The Hobbit into a movie trilogy, as opposed to filming just two movies as initially intended. Now, I'm not entirely sure if this is a good idea. When they made The Lord of the Rings there was plenty of source material to draw from and with The Hobbit, it's just like one book and that's it...
Sorry I can't hear anything else besides this song, which I've been humming all day: Far over the misty mountains cold To dungeons deep and caverns old The pines were roaring on the height, The winds were moaning in the night, The fire was red, it flaming spread; The trees like torches blazed with light...
