The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, the latest movie from director Peter Jackson,
conquered the box office and generated $84 million. This means that the flick
officially had a better opening than any of the three Lord of the Rings movies
that preceded it...

Two major 2012 blockbusters I'll remember:
The Avengers
The Dark Knight Rises
Both are definitely worth watching. Oh and don't watch The Avengers unless
you've already watched Iron Man (1,2), Thor, Captain America and The Hulk.
As for The Dark Knight Rises, well, it's a great ending to a terrific trilogy
from Christopher Nolan...

I'm sure most of you haven't missed the news that Peter Jackson will be making
The Hobbit into a movie trilogy, as opposed to filming just two movies as initially
intended. Now, I'm not entirely sure if this is a good idea. When they made
The Lord of the Rings there was plenty of source material to draw from and with The Hobbit,
it's just like one book and that's it...

Peter Jackson leads us onto the set to witness some behind-the-scenes preparations, which
are now taking place on set of The Hobbit. Some familiar locations were shown, which will no doubt be recognized by fans of the Lord of the Rings lore. You'll also see Sir Ian McKellen (a.k.a. Gandalf) on set, Martin Freeman (a.k.a. Bilbo Baggins) and others.
Enjoy!
Thanks, ComingSoon.net.

It's good to know that the making of The Hobbit is going well and that Peter
Jackson and his crew have really kicked things into high gear. One of the things
revealed now in early stages of production is that they are shooting the movie
at 48 fps, as opposed to the usual 24 fps which was always a standard for movie
makers in Hollywood and anywhere else for that matter...

For those among you still interested in the Hobbit movie, here's what
we know about it so far. It's good to see that filming
has finally kicked off and that Peter Jackson is in the director's chair once
again. If there's anybody out there who's not gonna fuck this up, it would have
to be him. So, let's hope they deliver another engrossing motion picture and that
we'll get a proper, epic, big-screen version of Tolkien's classic fantasy tale.

Well, don't know if any of you heard, but looks like Elijah Wood, who played
Frodo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, will have a role to play
in Peter Jackson's upcoming Hobbit flicks.
Another interesting fact is that P. J. is going to start filming the two...
