Ah, yes, yesterday's news on Descent brought back some nice gaming memories. It's one of those shooters I really enjoyed next to games like Wing Commander. It's a shame that the genre of sci-fi shooters deteriorated to the point where absolutely no developer or publisher would even think about putting up their money for a serious big-budget project involving X-Wing style space shooting. Who knows... maybe those days will return.
