The GDC brought a lot of interesting news this year, amongst which is that Frontier's space shooter Elite: Dangerous, currently available only on Windows PC, is going to make its way to Xbox One (as confirmed by Microsoft's Phil Spencer). Frontier main man David Braben also sounded pretty confident when speaking how Elite: Dangerous is actually going to be great on consoles...
During Phil Spencer's GDC presentation, he covered a little more into how Windows 10 and Xbox One will work together, and in the process, dropped the bomb that Elite Dangerous will go to Xbox One. Elite Dangerous is a massively multiplayer online space simulator that has captured numerous PC gamers, including our own Vince. The sim has continuously released new features and new ships, all of which should be available on the Xbox One when the port releases this summer.

You know that thing you can do on your PC and PlayStation 4, I think it's called capture a screenshot or something. It's something that we've been able to do on PC since nearly the DOS era (oh, that Prnt Scrn key), and now the Xbox finally has it in their inboxes...
Evidently now, this is really important news. CD Projekt Red, the Polish development studio behind The Witcher 3, said that the upcoming RPG will run in 1080p/30fps on PlayStation 4 and 900p/30fps on Xbox One. And now just a quick reminder that the PC version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will require 6 GB of RAM and 40 GB of HDD space - read the full system requirements for The Witcher 3.
